This presentation explores advanced techniques and strategies to enhance the diagnostic yield and procedural efficiency of Radial Endobronchial Ultrasound (R-EBUS) without relying on robotics or Cone-Beam CT. It covers the impact of sedation, various biopsy methods, and the importance of thorough pre-procedure planning. The presentation also addresses challenges in airway navigation, the critical role of "tool-in-lesion" confirmation, and approaches to minimize CT-to-body divergence. Importantly, this approach requires minimal capital investment and advanced machinery, making it accessible to nearly any institution currently offering bronchoscopy services. The goal is to equip healthcare professionals with practical, evidence-based insights to improve patient outcomes in bronchoscopy procedures while maintaining cost-effectiveness and broad applicability.
