This talk will focus on the physio-pathological aspects of airflow limitation in COPD. The scope and structure of the talk entails 3 main components which will be individually dissected; these are small airways role and assessment in COPD, the concept of airflow limitation and dynamic hyperinflation in COPD. Finally, the link between all the 3 elements will be detailed and unified.
