With the increasing detection of peripheral lung lesions, Radial endobronchial ultrasound (Radial EBUS) offers a minimally invasive method to improve diagnostic yield during bronchoscopy.
This talk covers the indications, setup, and interpretation of Radial EBUS, comparing techniques with and without a guide sheath, and highlighting the added value of fluoroscopy. A practical approach to estimate insertion depth without advanced tools will also be shared.
Attendees will gain practical insights on optimizing Radial EBUS use for accurate diagnosis in peripheral pulmonary lesions.
