Radial endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) and cryobiopsy have revolutionized the diagnostic approach to peripheral lung lesions, offering high diagnostic yields. However, these procedures are technically demanding and require meticulous attention to detail to ensure safety and efficacy. Despite their advantages, the learning curve is steep, and even minor oversights can lead to significant complications. In this talk, we will share real-life cases where procedural challenges and complications arose during radial EBUS and cryobiopsy. Through these experiences, we aim to highlight the intricate details that are often overlooked. By reflecting on these mistakes, we hope to foster a collaborative learning environment where participants can gain practical insights to avoid similar pitfalls in their own practice.
