Ong Boon-Hean

Clinical Assistant Professor Ong Boon Hean is a Senior Consultant and Deputy Head of Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery at the National Heart Centre Singapore. He completed his training in cardiothoracic surgery in Singapore, then pursued an advanced clinical fellowship in general thoracic surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School. He has subspeciality interests in minimally invasive thoracic surgery and thoracic oncology. In addition, he is also a core clinical faculty member of the Singapore Integrated Program for Cardiothoracic Surgery Residency and a co-investigator for several studies related to lung cancer screening and novel treatment strategies for lung cancer.
