Diong Nguk Chai
Dr. Diong Nguk Chai obtained her MBBS Degree from the International Medical University, Malaysia, in 2006. She completed her postgraduate training in General Surgery at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2015. She undertook subspecialty training in Thoracic Surgery under the Ministry of Health Malaysia, and at the Koo Foundation Sun Yat-Sen Cancer Center in Taiwan, completing it in 2021.
Currently, Dr. Diong serves as a Consultant in Thoracic and General Surgery at Hospital Sultan Ismail in Johor Bahru. Her clinical interests include Video-Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery (VATS) and lung cancer. She is a passionate advocate for early detection of lung cancer and actively works to raise awareness among healthcare professionals and the public.
