Nor Shahrina Mohd Zawawi

Dr Nor Shahrina Mohd Zawawi graduated from UKM (University Kebangsaan Malaysia) in 2000 and obtained her Masters of Speech-Language Therapist with Distinction from the University of Canterbury in 2010. She completed her doctorate studies under the Stroke Rehabilitation PhD. Studentship: Nottingham UK and Malaysia Collaboration Project in 2022. She has worked with a range of communication and swallowing disorders in Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz (HCTM) (formerly known as UKM Medical Centre (UKMMC)). Additionally, she has vast experience in developing speech-language therapy services in HCTM, and has been working closely with various professionals in clinical services and research activities to ensure the best care is provided for patients and their caregivers. Currently, her clinical works have been largely on voice and swallowing disorders, and stroke rehabilitation. She also has been supporting the younger Speech-Language Therapists across different clinical setting, particularly in regards to voice and swallowing disorders for both pediatric and adult populations. She is the current member of Allied Health Professional Council, representing the Speech-Language Therapy profesion. She is also an active member of Malaysian Association of Speech and Hearing (MASH) and currently serves the asociation as an Auditor
