Rama Krsna Rajandram

Rama Krsna is an associate professor at the Department of Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery at the National University of Malaysia. He holds significant leadership roles, serving as the current country representative for the AO Foundation, Country Education Head for the Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Implantology (AOMI), a life member of the Malaysian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and a founding committee member of the Malaysian Dentofacial Sleep Society. He is the head of the Master’s training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the National University of Malaysia. He also heads the orthognathic division at UKM, which serves as one of Malaysia's major referral centres for complex skeletal and sleep surgeries. His research area and surgeries focus on orthognathic surgery and restorative sleep surgical medicine. He is actively involved in national-level clinical guidelines for sleep-related issues and the multidisciplinary management of sleep disorders. His centre of practice has been acknowledged as one of the highest users of virtual surgical planning and patient-specific implants in orthognathic and sleep surgery. He heads the orthognathic division and serves as one of Malaysia's major referral centres for complex skeletal and sleep surgeries.
