Gary Lee

Professor Lee is a Professor of Respiratory Medicine at The University of Western Australia, and leads the busiest Pleural Services in the Australasia at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Perth. He leads the Centre for Innovative Pleural Research and the Pleural Medicine Unit at the Institute for Respiratory Health. He is recognized as a world leader in translational pleural research, with a vision of reducing the burden of pleural effusion. He has over 340 publications, has delivered 400+ lectures in 33 countries and trained over 30 clinical or research fellows, many of whom now lead their own pleural services.
