Sangeetha Siniah
Dr. Sangeetha Siniah is a renowned Consultant Paediatrician specializing in Paediatric Infectious Disease and Immunology. She obtained her MBBS from Melaka Manipal Medical College, graduating from Manipal University in November 2007. Dr. Sangeetha furthered her education with a postgraduate degree, MRCPCH (UK), which she completed in October 2014. Her passion for paediatrics and infectious diseases led her to pursue a Fellowship in Paediatric Infectious Disease and Immunology in Malaysia and India. With a strong foundation in paediatrics, Dr. Sangeetha embarked on postgraduate training in various renowned institutions, including Hospital Tunku Azizah Women and Children Hospital in Kuala Lumpur, University Putra Malaysia Teaching Hospital, and the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research in Chandigarh,India. Her training included specialized units such as Pediatric Infectious Disease, Allergy, and Clinical Immunology, as well as the Paediatric Bone Marrow Transplant Unit at Pusat Perubatan Universiti Malaya. Dr. Sangeetha's dedication to her field is evident in her establishment of the national referral center for Clinical Immunology services in Malaysia for both paediatircs and adult , making her the first trained Paediatric Infectious Disease and Immunologist in the country. She has received multiple awards for her outstanding service, including the Anugerah Perkhidmatan Cemerlang from the Ministry of Health Malaysia. Dr. Sangeetha's contributions extend beyond clinical practice; she has presented at numerous international conferences and has several publications, focusing on various aspects of paediatric immunology and infectious diseases.
