Welcome Address from Organising Chairperson

On behalf of the Organising Committee, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the 2025 Malaysian Thoracic Society (MTS) Annual Congress, being held for the first time at the prestigious Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC). This wonderful venue not only reflects our growing community of delegates but also underscores the increasing interest in respiratory medicine.

We are excited to present a rich and engaging scientific programme, meticulously curated by Dr. Syazatul Syakirin Sirol Aflah (Adult Respiratory) and Dr N Fafwati Faridatul Akmar Mohammad (Paediatric Respiratory). 
This year, our programme will cover a wide array of topics, spanning from foundational respiratory sciences to the latest advancements in respiratory diseases. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn from esteemed international and local experts who will provide invaluable insights into emerging trends and research in the field.

Moreover, we are pleased to offer several congress workshops designed to enhance the knowledge and practical skills of healthcare professionals in respiratory procedures.

We have also witnessed a remarkable increase in abstract submissions in recent years, signaling a vibrant future for respiratory research. We warmly encourage researchers to share their valuable findings within this esteemed forum.
